Ng Kai Hwai

  • Ng Kai Hwai was appointed as the CFO of the Group on 25 September 2023. He is responsible for the overall financial accounting reporting as well as risk management matters relating to the Group.
  • Prior to joining the Group, Ng Kai Hwai was the Audit Senior Manager of BDO LLP (Singapore) from November 2019 to September 2023, where he was responsible for establishing the firm’s Financial Services Group, as well as conducting external audit works for the firm’s clientele, comprising audit clients mainly from financial services industry, such as financial institutions, fund managers, funds, fintech companies and others.
  • His experience during the tenure with BDO Singapore LLP, includes audit and accounting advisory works, where his primary objectives are carrying out external audit engagements on various regulated entities. In addition, he was also tasked in reviewing the regulatory compliance aspects of entities, such as compliance with MAS’s regulatory requirements and regulatory reporting to the MAS.
  • During his tenure in BDO Singapore LLP, he left for a short period of time between October 2021 and March 2022 to join V Group Holding Pte Ltd as a Senior Group Accountant. He re-joined BDO Singapore LLP in March 2022. Prior to joining BDO Singapore LLP, he was the Audit Manager of Deloitte & Touche LLP from June 2017 to November 2019. Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche LLP, he was the Assistant Manager of Deloitte PLT in Malaysia from December 2011 to June 2017. During his tenure with Deloitte & Touche LLP and Deloitte PLT, he was involved in audit assignments of private and public listed companies.Ng Kai Hwai graduated with a diploma and Advanced Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting) from Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Malaysia in 2009 and 2011, respectively. He later obtained his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Accounting and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom in 2011. He has also completed his examinations pursuant to his membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2023.
